Gifts for high school grads
As the spring gives way to crocuses and violets, another class of high school seniors gets ready to graduate.
With the tide of teens turning towards that first step of real independence, a number of gifts for graduates hits the marketplace. You can get beer mugs with your high school emblem, the classic high school ring, and the new varsity jacket to take to college. But one thing missing from this fray is a great gift that actually helps the high school graduate transition into the immense step of leaving home.
I am pretty excited to see the release of the second Healthy, Fast and Cheap edition, The Leaving Home Survival Guide getting published by Cookbook Resources.
This is going to be a classic gift for high school grads beginning their freshman and sophomore years of college.
Right now, the second edition is available in Border’s and Walden books and will be available through this site as well.
I’m going to ask one or both of our CU interns to post back here on some of the other most popular gift ideas for college freshman, sophomores and high school grads.
