Vegetarianism Pros (part 1)
Vegetarianism Pros( part 1)
- The vegan diet, which excludes all meat and animal products.
- The lacto vegetarian diet, which includes plant foods plus dairy products.
- The lacto-ovo vegetarian diet, which includes both dairy products and eggs.
- The Flexitarian (semivegetarian) diet. which primarily follows a plant-based diet but occasionally eat small amounts of meat, poultry or fish.
Because the emphasis is consciously on diet, there is a beneficial tendency to make quality a priority. This is a good thing. Additionally, a vegetarian diet often gets people to diversify, which is also a good thing. There is a positive potential expansive list of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, seeds, nuts, beans and legumes. By eating more of these whole foods you automatically displace processed foods, low quality fats and refined carbohydrates, thereby leading to improved markers in a variety of health conditions.
